Course Details
Who is eligible for this course?
This reassessment course is available for experienced gas operatives who have held ACS CCN1 or City & Guilds NVQ/QCF gas certificates and need to renew the certificates they hold. This programme allows operatives to renew core CCN1 and up to 5 appliances.
What does the course involve?
To provide gas operatives with update training on the changes which have taken place to regulations over the last 5 years and prepare them for the ACS assessments, covering the following areas:
• Combustion
• Ventilation
• Installation of pipework & fittings
• Tightness testing & purging of domestic installations
• Checking and or Setting regulators
• Unsafe situations
• Checking & setting appliance burner pressure & gas rates
• Flue inspection & testing
• Re-establish existing gas supplies
• Inspect, test & commission gas appliances
Assessment Type?
At the end of the 4 day training course, operatives are assessed by a multiple choice question papers and practical assessment.
