The UK's first Hydrogen Home

The staff at Lomax Training recently visited NGN and Cadent's Hydrogen Home on the 21st February 2022. The visit was very informative, to see this close up and working was worth the visit! The Hydrogen Home contained very interesting technologies, and is the UK’s first home with appliances fuelled entirely by hydrogen, which would transform our gas industry!
The concept of the Hydrogen Home could be rolled out in the next 10 years and the site will eventually become a village with different house types, all fitted with hydrogen appliances which will be monitored on a regular basis. The full site of hydrogen houses, based on the current model, would produce no carbon at the point of use.
